Our Heart for Missions
Old Pueblo Baptist Church believes the Gospel is for every person, in every place. We want to be faithful witnesses here at home while also helping send missionaries to preach Christ in communities and countries around the world.
Through prayer, giving, and personal involvement, our church family has the opportunity to take part in fulfilling the Great Commission together.
Faith Promise Giving
Faith Promise Giving is a voluntary commitment, made prayerfully between the believer and the Lord, to give regularly to missions above the tithe as God provides. It is not a bill or a debt owed to the church, but an exercise of faith that helps the church support missionaries and carry the Gospel to the regions beyond.
Each person is encouraged to pray about what the Lord would have him or her give, then trust God to provide and give faithfully as He supplies.
Pray
Pray for missionaries, their families, their ministries, and the people they are working to reach with the Gospel.
Give
Give faithfully through Faith Promise Missions so that Gospel-preaching missionaries can be supported in the work God has called them to do.
Go
Be willing to share the Gospel personally and to follow the Lord wherever He may lead, whether across the street or around the world.
